Total Security comes with 'Wallet' for passwords but rather than improve it and add it to my android devices they want you to buy another product subscription for 'Password Manager'. Then to ad insult to injury they have been using Pop-Up ads to SPAM me about buying it even after I turned off product news and notifications. When questioned they said "you will only see the Ad 3 times", but I should see it ZERO since I paid and turned notifications off.
I will NOT be renewing.
Useless antivirus software, which crashes and freezes PC when detecting a thread

This is one of the worst nightmare piece of antivirus software we have ever purchased.
(1) Instalation on multiple computers (purchased a 5 PC license) a horror. The company will NOT, not even on request, give you the link to the full download. you only get a starter mini package and then have to repetitively downlaod over and obver again the full 500+MB package. Good luck when your company has 100+ machines to cover... I had to research the user forum to find the link to the complete download package - So facit: It is available, but the company are unwilling to share - ZERO stars!

No help was offered from Bitdefender, Refund ewas not offered, even the suggestion to make a donation to the Ukrain was refused.
Summary: Horrible company, incopetent customer service and NOT working anitvirus software! Stay away, not waste your $$$, purchase the much better and way more reliable competitor software (McAf...)

I am running a Win7 64 system with 32Gb memory. Bitdefender ver 26.0.12.56 installed.
Bitdefender appears to handly all the internet security without problem - at least nothing bad has happend as a result of accessing the net or receiving emails.
However ....over the past three months or so, bitdefender has started consuming increasing amounts of ram during the session. It starts at slightly less than 0.5Gb and after 9 hours memory being used is over 3Gb. If I remain in the session then the memory usage exceeds 4Gb. (memory usage determined by Windows Task Manager). The only way to allow some work to be done is reboot the PC.

dicated that this problem had been reported to Bitdefender. They offered solutions which initially made the problem go away, but it returned. As far as I know the bug has not been fixed in the actual bitdefender software.
I will continue to use the software until my subscription expires and will then replace it with an alternative.
I would not recommend the software because of this issue.
Consequence of this is that other programs running are slowed down and in some cases do not work.
I saw so many of bad reviews here. And my impression when using bitdefender is that it is just too good. It block really everything. It sometimes blocks more than I would want it to, but because of that it is great, because it protects me.
Malware including a terrible Trojan got past Bitdefender Total Security on Sunday Jan 9. 2Cocom_Bitdefender.com charged my Visa $67.99 on Dec . 20, I suppose for an annual renewal. I shut down all running applications, then ran Bitdefender Full system scan. Took 17 hours. Found 232 threats, of which Bitdefender could not delete 200. There is a terrible known Trojan that Bitdefender cannot delete. How do I get Defender support to help me with my now inoperable pc?
After several searches and review evaluations, I honed on the Free version of Bitdefender - however, it gave me the run-around after blocking a legitimate Microsoft Application!!!
After installing the Free Bitdefender on my Windows 10 laptop, I could no longer RDP into my computers that were Windows 7 and newer (and received an authentication error - "The Local Security Authority cannot be contacted"), but I was still able to RDP into my old Windows XP computers.
The nature of the error from the logs and web searches lead me to believe that it was a Windows error - alas, it was only after removing Bitdefender that I was then able to use RDP to all of my computers again.

From this, this now also begs the question what else is Bitdefender blocking that shouldn't be blocked, or more importantly, what is Bitdefender allowing in that shouldn't be allowed in?
The one thing I did enjoy though, was the online status of my devices - but I didn't enjoy the fact that it kept giving me the false report that there was a risk problem - perhaps it had something to do with it being a free version and it was trying to entice me to purchase it instead?
Perhaps Bitdefender would like to look into these matters before I try it again.
